How to qualify for the £50 referral reward
Monzo's current Business Referral Scheme requires several steps to be completed within the referral period.
Open the referral link
Open my Monzo referral invite and enter your mobile number on Monzo's website.
Complete the application
Download the Monzo app and apply for an eligible Monzo account.
Add money
Add money to the new account after it has been successfully opened.
Make the qualifying card payment
Make a payment using the physical Monzo card. Monzo's referral terms exclude ATM transactions, money transfers and virtual-card transactions from this requirement.
Complete everything within 30 days
The required referral steps must be completed within 30 days of entering your mobile number through the referral invite.
Who is eligible for the referral?
The referral offer and the Business account both have eligibility requirements.
UK resident
Monzo's current referral terms require invited customers to be UK residents.
Age 16+
The current referral terms require the invited person to be at least 16 years old.
New to Monzo
The referral offer is intended for eligible people who have not previously had or started signing up for a Monzo account.
Business eligibility
Monzo Business currently supports eligible UK sole traders and directors of registered limited companies by shares.
Existing or previous Monzo users
Under Monzo's current referral terms, you are not eligible for this referral offer if you have previously started signing up for Monzo, had a Monzo personal account, or been a user on a Monzo Business account.
